Widow Stephanie Shelton is told her young daughter was switched at birth and the child she's raising is someone else's. Now her biological daughter has been kidnapped from a wealthy couple and is in danger. Private investigator Mitch Halloran promises to help her find her birth daughter and return the girls to their rightful parents. The two of them race against the clock to bring the little girl safely home. Joyce Sullivan's OPERATION BASSINET (4.5) is simply terrific: fast-paced suspense, engaging dialogue and warmhearted, intelligent characters—an outstanding, memorable read.
