Book Review

by Michelle M. Pillow

Genre: Erotic Romance

RT Rating

The clash of two polar-opposite personalities, powerful love scenes and high emotions are just some elements that make this an entertaining romance. But Pillow could have played up the characters' differences even more to further heighten the tension. Also, some plot opportunities are not put to their best use.

Socialite Alexis leads a charmed life, dining out and shopping lavishly, until her mother is arrested and all of her wealth disappears in an instant. In a desperate attempt to do anything besides sitting at home and feeling sorry for herself, she agrees to go on a cross-country road trip with her best friend, her friend's boyfriend and a tattooed stranger.

Ethan plans to open his tattoo parlor when he reaches the West Coast after a vacation with his friends. But the addition of spoiled Alexis complicates the trip. While they antagonize each other at first, sparks soon fly between them. But can two people so different ever be compatible? (CHEEK, Aug., 267
