Suspense maven Brennan takes a decidedly supernatural turn with her new demon fighter series. Blatant evil takes corporeal form in this Seven Deadly Sins series launch. Brennan's tormented protagonists struggle with doubt and incomplete knowledge of the hazards they face. Her style of suspense readily adapts to the Urban Fantasy genre, giving it a darkly powerful edge. It's shiver inducing!

Moira O'Donnell has spent years working with Father Philip of the St. Michael's Monastery, after escaping from the clutches of her decidedly evil mother, Fiona. Fiona is an enormously powerful witch who plans to open a gateway to hell and pull through the seven deadly sins. At the Monastery, Moira is training to fight against dark magic and hunt down her mother. Fiona intends to harness the demons, but her plans go awry when the ceremony is interrupted by ex-seminarian Rafe Cooper.

Now the living incarnations of the sins are loose, and Moira, Rafe, the demonologist Anthony Zaccardi and gutsy sheriff Skye McPherson must battle Fiona and her followers as they attempt to gain control of the ancient evil.
