FOR OUR CHILDREN'S SAKE

Author(s):
Discovering that the daughter she gave birth to isn't biologically hers hits widowed teacher Lucy Grayford hard. Historian and TV personality Dominic Grayling is the other victim of the fertility clinic's error; his late wife died giving birth to his— actually, Lucy's—daughter. Fearful of the effect any publicity could have on the girls, Dominic proposes a simple solution—a platonic marriage For Our Children's Sake (4). Lucy agrees, but the arrangement is anything but simple. Natasha Oakley makes a noteworthy debut, putting an interesting modern twist on the marriage-of-convenience plot and creating nicely detailed characters.
