Book Review

OUR LITTLE SECRET
by Starr Ambrose

Genre: Romantic Suspense

RT Rating

This is a fun story with a twisty plot. If you're looking for a lighthearted romantic suspense to perk up your spirits or pass the time, Ambrose's story will do the trick. But if you enjoy gripping suspense and steamy, compelling characters, try a different Ambrose book. She's a great author with a bright future!

Lauren Sutherland is the exact opposite of her twin sister, Meg. Lauren is dependable, organized and practical to a fault. Meg is a passionate, often reckless woman who seems to have
disappeared with her new husband, a U.S. senator who's old enough to be her father. When Lauren learns Meg's missing, she teams up with the senator's son Drew to find them.

Despite her engagement to ultra-conservative and practical Jeff, Lauren cannot help but be intensely attracted to Drew. As they work together, Lauren realizes she's not quite as dependable as she thought she was. In fact, she can be quite impulsive and reckless. As they dive headlong into political intrigue and danger, Lauren must decide whether to dump her fiance and fall into the arms of Drew, or to play it safe. (POCKET, Dec., 384 pp., $7.99)
