THE OUTLAW DEMON WAILS
Intended originally to
be the final book in the Hollows series, this is a
fantastic ending to the first chapter of Rachel Morgan's story. As usual, she's
a compelling and interestingly conflicted character who can't seem to get into
just a little bit of trouble. Series fans will have a hard time putting the book down as Rachel plummets headlong into what initially appears to be disaster but which just may be her salvation. Rachel's future looks bright, indeed, and luckily for readers, this isn't the last book.
In the course of her investigation, Rachel faces a number of uncomfortable truths about herself and her past while she forges a new future for herself -- and conquers a few demons while she's at it. (EOS, Mar., 464 pp., $24.95)
