In this charming, wry look at sisterhood, 62-year-old widow BJ Fradkin loves her younger sister, Iris, but she doesn't want her to live in BJ's house forever. Iris has been a widow for more than a year, so BJ forms the Over-Fifty Singles Night through their synagogue to find her a husband. Harvey Sussman is BJ's choice, but Harvey isn't cooperating, and Iris doesn't think she needs a husband. The love, misunderstandings, anger and complexity of sister relationships are clearly brought out in Over 50's Singles Night (4.5), Ellyn Bache's well-written, humorous and emotional story.
