Retired Marine Nick Santori and injured dancer Izzie Natale have both returned to Chicago's Little Italy, where their families live and they grew up. Izzie runs the family bakery during the day;
at night she works as an elegant masked stripper called Crimson Rose. While she's wanted Nick since she was a teenager, she doesn't want a permanent relationship, and when she gets to know him both as herself and her alter ego, she hopes
he will settle for an affair with Crimson Rose. Can he accept both parts of Izzie? Overexposed (4), by Leslie Kelly, is
so well written -- with sharp dialogue, realistic characters, deep emotion and sizzling sex -- that as the book flies by, the improbable aspects are unnoticeable.
