Book Review

by Gilbert Morris

Genre: Inspirational, Historical Romance

RT Rating

Although readers who haven't read the previous five books in bestseller Morris' American Century series may find themselves confused about the characters, this is still a worthwhile, entertaining read. Historical facts surround one family's struggles and triumphs in the 1950s.

Jerry and Bonnie Stuart's children are facing a new decade and a very real possibility of war. Stephanie wants to report on the war, while her brothers will most likely have to join up. The Stuart family has always been believers, but the Korean War and all the other trials wartime entails will be challenges for them and their faith. They will get through them like they always have, with trust in the Lord. (Revell, Nov., 304 pp., $12.99)
