PALE DEATH
by Aimee and David Thurlo

Genre: Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Mystery, Paranormal

RT Rating

In his third outing, modern-day cop/vampire Lee Nez is searching
for an evil vampire on the loose in a small New Mexico town. Lee teams up with FBI agent and love interest Diane Lopez in the search for Stewart Tanner,
a vampire who escaped a government research lab.

Research scientists who were
investigating his rapid healing powers
used Stewart as a guinea pig, and
the inhumane treatment drove him insane. As a result, he's gone on a
murdering rampage, brutally killing
federal officials and anyone else who gets in his way. Half-vampire Lee uses his finely tuned hearing and night
vision to track Stewart.

The Thurlos offer a twist on the
vampire novel, with a good-guy vampire seeking his evil counterpart. Fast-paced, nonstop action abounds. With
the popularity of vampire novels, this read is certain to appeal to paranormal fans. (Oct., 264 pp., $23.95)
