Well written, suspenseful and incredibly thought-provoking, Green's novel is one of those rare hard-to-put-down books that you put down anyway -- because you don't want it to end.
Q's had a crush on Margo Roth Spiegleman since they were friends as little kids. They haven't spoken in years, but he idolizes her. The morning after she turns up at his window, dressed as a ninja and ready for an adventure, she disappears. All that's left are a series of bizarre and cryptic clues. Q is determined to find Margo -- where she is and who she is. (Dutton, Oct., 352 pp., $17.99, ISBN: 9780525478188, HC, 14 and Up)
