Literary agent Teryl Weaver is thrilled to help when reclusive author Simon Tremont announces he will make his very first public appearance anywhere, down in New Orleans to promote his upcoming novel, RESURRECTION. Teryl has always been a tremendous fan of Simon's work, but can't help feeling a bit disappointed when she finally meets him. He is handsome enough, but something about him makes her nervous.

The lure and romance of New Orleans sweeps Teryl up into an uncharacteristic torrid affair with a magnetic stranger who eventually kidnaps her.

John Smith has lived in seclusion for years, only communicating with his editor and agent through a P.O. Box. He is therefore completely stunned when he reads about Simon Tremont's upcoming book tour. When John is nearly killed by fire bombs which destroy his house and records, he realizes he is in a very unique bind. Until he can get some back-up documentation, John can't prove he is really Simon.

At first Teryl is terrified that John is a complete madman, but the more time she spends with him, the more convinced she becomes that his wild story is the truth. Can they prove the truth in time to stop a potential killer?

PASSION is Ms. Pappano's most impressive, intricate and thrilling novel to date. Her continued growth as an outstanding author is a boon to readers everywhere! (Apr., 416 pp., $5.99)
