Genre: Inspirational, Historical Romance

RT Rating

Fans will enjoy catching up with the characters and reading the passionate scenes they've come to expect from Lessman in the final installment of the Daughters of Boston series. Other readers may tire of the seduction plot and wonder when the real story begins. When it does, they'll find some of the plot twists surprising.

Elizabeth O'Connor has loved her spiritual mentor, John Brady, since she was 13. John is attracted to her too but insists he loves her only as a sister. Frustrated, Elizabeth takes a friend's advice to use her feminine wiles to manipulate John into admitting his true feelings. Her plan almost works, until John's past catches up with him. Will Elizabeth still be in love with John after she learns about his sordid past? (REVELL, May, 464 pp., $13.99)

Daughters of Boston series- book 3- A Passion Denied
I really enjoyed this book. I could relate to the heroine, Lizzie, because she was a bookworm. As always, Julie kept the story interesting. Way to go, Julie!!
