THE PASTOR'S WOMAN
by Jacquelin Thomas

Genre: Series, Kimani Romance, Current Series Imprints

RT Rating

Totally hilarious but with
a serious message, The Pastor's Woman (4.5), by Jacquelin Thomas, is a masterful, moving story that depicts the events that caused these characters to be the people that they are while keeping the story moving at a quick pace. Aspiring gospel singer Pearl Lockhart is a top-notch waitress and the most outspoken and opinionated Lockhart sister. Wade Kendrick, the new minister at Pearl's congregation, seems determined to rile her up at every opportunity with his extremely conservative nature. Unbeknownst to Pearl, events in Wade's past still have a tremendous hold on him, and his attraction to and subsequent relationship with Pearl forces him to acknowledge and deal with them.
