PATCHWORK FAMILY IN THE OUTBACK
PATCHWORK FAMILY IN THE OUTBACK (2) by Soraya Lane: Bellaroo Creek resident Harrison Black is a single father struggling to get on with his life ever since his wife flew the coop, and he’s determined to keep away from women. But when Poppy Carter strolls into town to calm a classroom of disobedient children, her teaching skills are put to the test — especially when she meets Harrison and his children. A terrifying storm lassos them together and Harrison embarks on the idea that Poppy may be “the one.” Lane’s Australian love story is mediocre at best. Readers will find it an arduous task trying to follow the characters’ connection.
