When Isabella Fernandes discovers that she's pregnant after a brief affair, she heads to England to confide in family friend Paulo Dantas, but once face to face, she finds that she just can't tell him. In the ensuing months, she takes a job as a nanny, until Paulo comes looking for her and shockingly discovers her condition. THE PATERNITY CLAIM (2) by Sharon Kendrick is a sensual story with passionate characters, but the plot lacks the energy necessary for the tale to reach its potential. Also, a lack of punch in the conflict makes this story very mellow.
