Goss’ new novel is cleverly written and genuinely funny. It centers around a modern-day heroine who represents every woman who is single and questioning her life choices, especially when it comes to love. This story will hook you and keep you riveted until the last page.

Dana Mayo is tracking down an ex-lover she has pined over for more than a decade. In the midst of her search she meets handsome building contractor Hank Wheeler. He seems perfect, though she suspects that there’s more to him than meets the eye. Next, she meets sexy, smart Billy Moody, a man almost two decades her junior who shares her love for crossword puzzles, and there’s an instant connection. He seems perfect too, which puts her in a bit of a conundrum. Between her new boyfriend and her crossword guy, which one is her Mr. Right? (NAL, Mar., 336 pp, $14.00)
