The final book of Redwood’s Bloodline trilogy is fast-paced and action-packed from the first page. Readers will relate to the realistic character scenarios, particularly married couple Morgan and Tyler’s strained relationship. The medical drama is fascinating and although it’s complex, the author does a wonderful job of keeping it simple enough for everyone to comprehend.
Morgan Adams is a pediatric ICU nurse with a great deal on her plate. After the recent loss of her infant daughter, she is suffering from kidney failure and on dialysis. She blames herself for her daughter’s death, which has distanced her from her husband, Tyler. Tyler is involved in a controversial medical study, contracted by the Department of Defense to transform the minds of combat soliders with superior memory. The research hits way too close to home when Morgan is held hostage in the hospital where she works as the test subjects demand answers. How are the two related, and how can Tyler help his wife?
