Boston P.I. Sunny Randall is asked for help by three very different womenher snobby sister Elizabeth, who suspects her husband is cheating; Mary Lou Goddard, an ostentatiously radical feminist whos being stalked; and her best friend Julie, whose life has suddenly turned upside down.
