PHANTOM OF THE FRENCH QUARTER

PHANTOM OF THE FRENCH QUARTER (3) by Colleen Thompson: Rising out of the darkness to help a frightened woman, funerary photographer Marcus LeCarpentier has too many reasons not to get involved with the authorities and doesn’t want to stick around. French Quarter tour guide Caitlyn Villare seems to have a lot of enemies for a woman who’s only been in town for a few months, but it appears her parents’ past is affecting her future as somebody stalks her among the tombs of New Orleans. Though there’s lots of action, readers may find there are too many confusing and conflicting plotlines and convenient explanations to make this a top-of-the-line suspense story.
