PICTURE OF INNOCENCE
PICTURE OF INNOCENCE (2) by Jacqueline Baird: Banker Lorenzo Zanelli has never forgiven artist Lucy Steadman’s brother for the death of his own brother in a mountaineering accident. So when Lucy pleads for help in saving her family-run factory, he takes pleasure in refusing. But as much as Lorenzo detests anything Steadman, he can’t resist the opportunity to seduce Lucy into his bed, and then manipulating her into staying there. Lucy isn’t blind to Lorenzo’s arrogance and manipulation, but she can’t deny their combustible attraction. An unlikable hero and too many secondary characters contribute to an unbelievable romance.
