Genre: Mainstream, General Mainstream Fiction

RT Rating

In her debut novel, Arnold delivers a story of loss, hope, courage and second chances. The poignant tone that runs throughout and Arnold's insight into the special bond between sisters make this story a touching one.

Twin sisters Kerry and Eve Barnard shared a special bond growing up, until they were 17 and a crucial event shattered it. Separated for about 13 years, they reunite because of a phone call from a childhood friend and a terminal illness. Together, the sisters must try to put back together the pieces of their lost relationship. (Bantam, Aug., 447 pp., $6.99)
