Making a "bachelorette pact" with her girlfriends at a wedding should help finance manager Jessica Barnes resist the charms of consultant Adam Taylor, who's downsizing the firm she works for. It doesn't— even though Adam could cost her the job she loves and the financial security she craves. Once he makes it a competition, there's no holding back for either of them— it's winner take all. Compelling conflict and characterizations are rounded out by touches of whimsy and witty dialogue in Kathleen O'Reilly's PILLOW TALK (4).
