RT Rating

In the second installment of the amazing Appleseed Creek Mystery series, readers are reunited with familiar people and treated to some new friends. Characters are well thought out, entertaining and hard to forget. The storyline is believable and runs smoothly through the book. Flower gives us a glimpse into a world where living simply is not what it seems.

There is someone in the quiet town of Appleseed Creek committing unthinkable acts, cutting off the hair of Amish women and cutting off the beards of Amish men. Chloe Humphrey, a non-Amish newcomer to the area, is alarmed at this and vows to do everything in her power to help catch the people responsible, regardless of who is guilty, in hopes of bringing trust back to both her Amish and non-Amish friends.
