Sexy scenes and pleasant characters make this a fun book, but since it turns out the men involved have also been lusting after the women, there isn't much conflict or tension.

When three best friends face their 30th birthdays in the same year, they make a pact to take each of their deepest, naughtiest fantasies and make them come true.

Shy museum archivist Catherine is finally able to confess her attraction to a wealthy developer by pretending she is someone else. Painter Kallie has long desired friend and restaurant owner Beau, but it takes a stray ball at a baseball game to bring them together. Former party girl turned charity worker Gina goes on a cruise and finds the man who broke her heart years before. (Signet Eclipse, Jan., 288 pp., $14.00)
