Book Review

PLAY NICE
by Gemma Halliday

Genre: Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Suspense

RT Rating

Play Nice starts with a bang and doesn’t let up. The action is gripping and the characters are compelling. Anna is quite an interesting dark figure, but it’s really Nick who stands out. Halliday has created characters who definitely are strong enough to withstand a long series.

All Anna Smith wants is some peace and quiet, but her goal is shattered with a gunshot. See, Anna is really assassin Anya Danielovich, who faked her death to escape her former life. Nick Dade is also a hired killer — hired to kill Anna. However, when someone shoots at Anna and it isn’t him, Nick decides to help her figure out why she has so many people after her.
