THE PLAYBOY'S PLAIN JANE
Florist Katie Pritchard thinks ex-pro baseball player Dylan McKinnon is a womanizer -- his flower orders alone prove it! But Dylan's also gorgeous and flirtatious, and Katie's only human. She doesn't take Dylan's overtures seriously -- until she finds out there's a vulnerable guy hiding behind the confident façade. Putting aside her own sad romantic past is difficult, but Katie decides Dylan's worth it. Convincing him to really trust any woman is the hard part, however. Cara Colter's The Playboy's Plain Jane (4) has a deceptively simple plot, a pair of emotionally complex characters and lots of humor. In short, this is an entertaining story all around.
