Rita Frazer wants to find success as a costume designer. Until then, she makes do by working as a seamstress on the cruise ship Venus with her sister, Jayne,
a dancer. When Jayne disappears, Rita must fill her shoes for a performance. She has no idea that she's about to see her future sitting in the crowd.

FBI agent Harrison Masters is on the first pleasure trip he's taken in a very long time. That he's mixing business with pleasure can't be helped. He's looking for his ex-girlfriend, who walked
off with a good deal of his family's money. Now if he can only keep his hands and mind off Rita and focus
on his case.

Rock's story is a quick read populated by fun characters. The unique setting is a wonderful plus to a suspense read that is not all that suspenseful. (Feb., 320 pp., $5.99)
