Carly Bell Hartwell is a witch — a good, healing witch who makes potions to help people with illnesses, sleeping troubles and even love. When a local lawyer ends up dead in the break room of her potion shop, everyone points their fingers at Carly as the culprit. To make matters worse, the investigator is none other than her ex-fiancé, Dylan, and evidence keeps painting Carly as the murderer. Taking matters into her own hands, she looks into the life of the victim. Will Carly put all the pieces together before time runs out? (OBSIDIAN, Nov., 336 pp., $7.99)
