Lovely boldly steps into the den with all that is taboo within churches. She doesn't sugarcoat as she develops characters who are on the down low, others whose lives have them down low and those who are simply lowdown. Many of their foibles appear to be ripped from present-day headlines and wrapped in creativity. This is a remarkably crafted novel and a tremendous read.

Passion Perkins wants a man to adore her like her pastor adores his wife. Ready to end five years of celibacy, she sets her sights on a newcomer. When she becomes a woman scorned, all hell breaks loose, but she's not alone in opening closets that hold the skeletons of those who seem to have God's favor and the devotion of a multitude.
