After moving his daughters from Texas to Pennsylvania to start over and get his older daughter away from a bad crowd, engineer Sloan Thompson meets neighbor and shop owner Jenna Quinn. In
spite of his desire for a "normal" life, Sloan quickly finds himself attracted to the unconventional shopkeeper. The Pregnancy Test (3) by Susan Gable
is a pleasurable read. Although the title seems to give it all away, Gable manages
to surprise us a bit in the end. The plot, however, is resolved just a bit too quickly.
