THE PRICE OF INNOCENCE
by Susan Sizemore

Genre: Historical Romance
Setting: England, 1877

RT Rating

American widow Sherrie Hamilton, is reunited with Lord Jack Pen Martyn after
an absence of nine years. In the meantime, she has made a life for herself and the daughter she had by her former lover.

Trying to pick up where they left off
isnt that easy. The nefarious Lord Gordon Summers adds to the turmoil by attempting to gain influence over the other aristocracy.

This story might sound simple, but Sherrie Hamilton isnt her real the name and Lord Jack hasnt always been a lord.

Ms. Sizemore has written an intriguing story of lovers, spies, pirates, grands khans and English aristocrats, and one tough-minded American woman. One of the best features of this intriguing tale is
Ms. Sizemores method of showing the lovers pasts through flashbacks at
crucial moments in the present. SENSUAL (May, 350 pp., $5.99)
