Davis’ thoroughly captivating second Edge of the World novel transports the reader to Russia. Readers will want to get involved after reading about the plight of children around the world.

When photojournalist Stuart Daniels travels to Russia, an old friend convinces him to help her rescue two young girls who are sex slaves. Stuart realizes that a girl he met on an earlier trip is missing and likely caught up in the industry as well. Relying on his faith and a committed group of Russians, Stuart plunges himself into the middle of the high-stakes situation, with harrowing results. (DAVID C. COOK, Jun., 304 pp., $14.99)
