Book Review

PRIDE AND PREGNANCY
by Karen Templeton

Genre: Series

RT Rating

Thrice-divorced personal shopper Karleen Almquist definitely isn't looking
for a man -- but she can't help admiring businessman Troy Lindquist's assets when he moves in next door with his 4-year-old twin sons. Still grieving his wife's death, Troy isn't relationship material, but their resolve doesn't last long. Then one-time-only sex has unexpected consequences -- a baby. Karleen's convinced they'll never make things work, but Troy wants to try despite the odds. Karen Templeton's Pride and Pregnancy (3) is something a little different, and gutsy Karleen's a joy. But Troy's not fleshed out much, and his coming-together with Karleen feels forced.
