The fourth book in the Dragon Knight series can easily be read as a stand-alone. Well-written characters and settings make readers feel part of the story. The sex scenes are graphic and explicit and include a menage.

Prince Nico, also known as the Prince of Spies, is a shapeshifting dragon. While traveling he meets Riki, a beautiful maiden kept chained by King Lucan, who holds on to her for her healing power. Luckily, a witch has convinced Lucan that Riki only keeps her powers as long as she remains a virgin.

When Nico is captured by Lucan's men, he becomes convinced she's the woman for him. Breaking free of Lucan with Riki, Nico transforms into his dragon form to fly them away to safety. The trip is filled with many obstacles, but Nico and Riki find time to mate, not just alone but also with Nico's friend Drake. They also learn the truth of Riki's heritage. (Samhain, Sep.
