PRIVATE EYE PROTECTOR
PRIVATE EYE PROTECTOR (4) by Shirlee McCoy: Rayne Sampson is unable to remember the last two months, due to amnesia following a car accident. She is anxious to leave the hospital to care for Emma, the child she’s had custody of since her best friend’s death. Chance Richardson, a private investigator and her co-worker, is determined to protect Rayne, as it seems someone is targeting her. Could it be the husband of an abused woman she once helped? Flawed characters add to the realism and the suspense is appropriately paced and well crafted.
