PRIVATE JUSTICE (3) by Marie Ferrarella: Attorney Dylan Kelley comes to the aid of his estranged father, U.S. Senator Hank Kelley, when the senator is accused of having a scandalous affair. Initially Dylan believes that chief of staff assistant Cindy Jensen is another of his father’s women. Once Cindy proves her relationship with the senator is strictly professional, she and Dylan join forces to clean up the mess. They soon discover the scandal is far graver than they first suspected. The opening lacks momentum and the suspense plot unravels too slowly.
