The Prodigal Husband is the remarkable story of a woman's spiritual strength and deep love for her husband, despite his act of betrayal in their marriage.

Tori Madison has found it in her heart to forgive her husband for having an affair with his business partner, Sheila, as well as accidentally killing their only child in a tragic accident. Unfortunately, he's run away and has no idea how she feels.

Jake Madison is torn with guilt and stays away from his wife for a year. He does keep in touch with Sheila, however. Unbeknownst to his mistress, Jake decides to go home and make another go at it with his wife.

Ms. Thomas intimately probes into the dynamics of a relationship and how one couple struggles to rebuild their life, with the help of God (despite Sheila's calculated attempts to have Jake for herself).

Tori's ability to forgive her husband, who was so blindsided by Sheila, is remarkable. When this reader feels so strongly towards any character, the writer has done a great job in the character's portrayal. (Now available, 288 pp., $15.00)
