Guilt and regret have driven bounty hunter Rafe Montana away from his family. Rafe uses Seer powers inherited from his mother to track down criminals — like Danny Cangialosi, who skipped his court date. Rafe’s gift doesn’t seem to work in finding Danny, but he does flash on Danny’s stepsister, Cara McGaffigan. Too many people are interested in Danny, and Cara is suddenly in the middle of a power struggle she doesn’t understand. Rafe knows that Cara is in danger, but can he convince her to trust him?
