Mary O'Hurley thinks she's in for a quiet evening until suspended U.S. Marshal Gideon Brand crashes into her life. A girl has been kidnapped, and Gideon thinks Mary is the only one who can help. After an earthquake hit Haven, W. Va., Mary suddenly found herself with psychic ability. She's tried to keep a low profile, since most people think she's just crazy, but with the U.S. Marshal's office, local officials and organized crime all seemingly involved, neither Mary nor Gideon has any idea how their lives will irrevocably change. There's so much going on in Protected in His Arms (3) that it might have been better served by a longer format. But Suzanne McMinn's story focuses on a terrific twosome who are filled with wonder that they've found each other amid chaos.
