Fleeing a coup in the small Scandin-avian country her father rules, Princess Anna Johansson seeks help from Tanner West in Cotter Creek, OK. The owner of the Wild West Protective Services thinks she is spoiled and willful and plans to show her who's in charge in order to keep her alive. Although Tanner and the secondary characters are attractive, the Paris Hilton-like princess is not. Awkward, stilted language and an illogical plot—she travels without guards and with false ID post 9/11—make Protecting the Princess (2) by Carla Cassidy less than enjoyable.
