A chance meeting with an attractive lawyer and a stray dog upsets the cozy domesticity of a pretty craft store owner and her two cats in the second half of Ruth Jean Dales Double Duets entry, THE PURRFECT MAN (3). Against her better judgment, she allows the man talk her into fostering the muttwith some predictably disastrous results. The plots not new, but this is a fun variation on the opposites attract theme anyway, with a truly memorable hero and a sweet but not spineless heroine.
