Book Review

by Steven James

Genre: Inspirational, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

James is a master storyteller and doesn’t disappoint in his latest installment in the Bowers Files. Fans might miss the nail-biting adrenaline rush they’ve come to expect from the other four books, but James still delivers an intelligent, suspenseful story with a surprise ending readers will not see coming. Reading the previous books in the series first is suggested, but this story can pretty much stand alone.

FBI Special Agent Patrick Bowers is investigating a double homicide in an isolated northern Wisconsin town. Before long, however, he uncovers a high-tech conspiracy that twists through long-buried Cold War secrets and is aimed directly at present-day tensions in the Middle East.
