Cuccaro pens a fresh and compelling read that will engage the reader. Her characters are unique, yet completely authentic and well rounded. Readers will want to root for this couple to overcome class lines and prove they go together like cafe au lait and beignets.

Samantha Vines is the
picture of a prim and proper private-school teacher from the staid and
beautiful Garden District of New Orleans. So when the father of one
of her students rushes into her office
in full drag costume, she is shocked. But under the pantyhose and false
eyelashes, she senses a masculine, magnetic man lurking.

Vic Cabarini, an old-fashioned Southerner from the carefree French Quarter, will do anything for a friend, including work undercover in a drag club to catch a saboteur. And Garden District princesses like Sam never dally with boys from the wrong side of the tracks -- or do they? (CERRIDWENpress
