After a one-night stand with wealthy Jack Cartwright during a masquerade ball, social worker Lily Miller can't seem to find a way to tell him she's pregnant, so she keeps ducking him. Jack, in the meantime, has been trying to find the woman behind the mask who refused to give her name. When he finds out it's Lily and that she's pregnant, he offers her marriage. As Lily gets swept along in Jack's wedding plans, she wonders if this marriage of convenience is a mistake in The Rags-to-Riches Wife (3). Metsy Hingle's characters have a bit to learn about communication but, overall, the relationship evolves easily.
