RAISING THE RANCHER'S FAMILY
by Patricia Thayer

Genre: Series, Harlequin Romance, Current Series Imprints

RT Rating

Home from the Middle East, photographer Leah Keenan pauses to appreciate the Colorado countryside -- and spots a child in the wilderness. The property's owner, Holt Rawlins, tells Leah she's trespassing, but he agrees to look for the boy. A financial adviser from New York, Holt isn't the fatherly type, but with Leah's help, he fosters the runaway until permanent arrangements can be made. By then, Holt's thinking about marriage and adoption -- but Leah's life is elsewhere. Patricia Thayer begins Rocky Mountain Brides with Raising the Rancher's Family (3). Independent Leah's handled well, but Holt and the
other characters are slightly wooden.
