A RANCH TO CALL HOME
A RANCH TO CALL HOME (4) by Leann Harris: After 12 years of service, ex-Army captain Brenda Kaye goes home to her brother and grandpa on the family ranch. There, she meets Caleb Jensen, who knows her brother from the rodeo circuit. While working on a charity rodeo event together, they learn that they have similar backgrounds. Brenda has PTSD and unresolved issues about why she was saved while others were not. Caleb feels responsible for the injury of a fellow cowboy. Beaten down by life’s circumstances, will they continue to bury the pain? Guilt, PTSD and making peace with our past are key to this story in which character development reflects God’s healing powers. They remind the reader that, though broken, God still uses us for His glory.
