THE RANCH SHE LEFT BEHIND
THE RANCH SHE LEFT BEHIND (4) by Kathleen O’Brien: After the aunt she cared for dies, artist Penny Wright goes home to Silverdell, Colo., to build a new life for herself near her sisters and their families. And when she rents half of her new house to architect Max Thorpe and his daughter Ellen, she and Max — who is also trying to rebuild, after his wife’s death — find they have much in common. But while they’re interested in each other, Ellen may not yet be ready to accept a new woman in her dad’s life. This entertaining story contains nicely developed characters: Max’s daughter, Ellen, is unique and Penny’s nephew, Alec, is quirky and fun.
