Melissa Randall has returned home from Paris for the holidays. It's been six years since she's been back to Rawhide, Wyo., and she has a lot to deal with. Her mama may be sick, her father wants her to settle close to home, and she's fighting an attraction to handsome deputy sheriff Harry Gowan. Things become more complicated when her ex-fiance hits town. Will she return to her Parisian lifestyle or stay in Wyoming with Harry? A Randall Thanksgiving (2) by Judy Christenberry has wonderful potential as a romance, but the interaction between Melissa and Harry is disjointed and forced. The secondary story, dealing with Melissa and her parents, is a nice addition.
