Book Review

by Fern Michaels

Genre: Mainstream, General Mainstream Fiction

RT Rating

While not necessarily very well characterized or plotted, Michaels' novel is still a guilty pleasure for an afternoon of escapism. Readers will scoff with disbelief as they reach for another handful of grapes and turn the page.

A Washington insider funded a brothel outside Las Vegas, and when the madam suddenly winds up dead, the Sisterhood members are in the position to tell the whole story. Myra, Annie, Kathryn, Yoko, Alexis, Nikki and Isabelle team up with Lizzie Fox to uncover the truth -- and to make sure the madam gets justice. (KENSINGTON, Oct., 352 pp., $6.99)
